ICAR-National Rice Research Institute (NRRI, formerly CRRI) in Cuttack, Odisha, is the apex national institute for rice research under the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). Under project EAP-469 ('Exploring the carbon sequestration potential of silicate rocks and industrial by products through enhanced weathering and their impact on crop productivity'), the Young Professional-I engages in field trials across farmers' fields, collecting soil and plant tissue samples, conducting laboratory analysis, and preparing technical datasets for the Principal Investigator.
