Essential Educational Qualifications:

  • B.S. 4 years programme / Integrated BS-MS / M.Sc. / B.E. / B.Tech. or equivalent degree in Chemical Engineering / Chemistry / allied areas with minimum 55% marks.
  • Passing of national eligibility test: CSIR-UGC NET or GATE score.
  • Desirable: Knowledge and practical experience in electrochemistry, electrochemical engineering, electrochemical sensors, materials synthesis (especially electrocatalysts for fuel cells), and characterization using potentiostats/electrochemical workstations.

Age Limit & Relaxations

Upper age limit is 28 years for JRF. Relaxable up to 5 years for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC, women, and physically handicapped candidates as per CSIR norms.
