Educational Qualification

Master's Degree in Engineering, Public Policy, Public Administration, Management, Economics, Data Science, Urban Planning, Environmental Studies, Development Studies, or Social Work from a recognized University/Institution. Minimum 03 years of experience in Government agencies, consulting assignments and project implementation, governance projects, engineering and infrastructure projects, digital transformation initiatives, or consulting projects in think tanks.

Age Limit & Relaxations

Age criteria are governed as per University and Jammu & Kashmir Government norms. Prescribed qualification and experience shall be reckoned as on the last date of application submission (01-10-2026).

Selection will be based on academic merit, relevant experience, and performance in the personal interview in the ratio of 60:20:20 (Total: 100 marks). Component 1: Prescribed Postgraduate Qualification (Percentage obtained in PG degree on pro-rata basis, max 60 marks). Component 2: Relevant Experience (2 marks for each completed year up to max 20 marks, with proportionate marks for 6 to 12 months, max 20 marks). Component 3: Personal Interview (Performance before Selection Committee, max 20 marks). Where the number of eligible applicants is large, candidates shall be shortlisted in order of merit based on combined score in PG qualification and experience.
