Educational Qualification

• Essential Qualification: M.Sc. in Mathematics or an equivalent postgraduate degree in Mathematics with a minimum of 55% marks (or equivalent CGPA), along with a valid GATE, NET (CSIR/UGC), or NBHM score in Mathematics.
• Desirable Qualification: Background in Applied Mathematics or Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), and proficiency in MATLAB, Python, and LaTeX.
• Project Scope: Research in ANRF sponsored project entitled 'Convective Transport of Hybrid and Trihybrid Nanofluids Using Artificial Neural Networks' at School of Physical Sciences, JNU.

Age Limit & Relaxations

Upper age limit is 28 years as on the last date of application as per standard ANRF / DST guidelines. Relaxable up to 5 years for SC/ST/OBC/Women/PwD candidates.

The JRF at the School of Physical Sciences (SPS), JNU works on advanced computational fluid dynamics (CFD) modeling of nanofluids combined with machine learning (artificial neural networks). Daily research involves differential equations, numerical simulations in MATLAB/Python, mathematical modeling of heat and mass transfer, and preparing research publications under the supervision of Dr. Om Prakash Meena.
