Educational Qualification

Qualifications by position for the Virtual Lab Phase-3 project:

  • Senior Research Fellow (SRF): M.Sc. in Physics with at least 60% marks and proficiency in web/simulation technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Three.js, Python, MATLAB, Arduino IDE, LTspice, AutoCAD, Fusion 360).
  • Junior Research Fellow (JRF): B.E. / B.Tech. in CSE, EEE, or Mechanical Engineering with at least 60% marks and experience in React.js, Three.js, MySQL, MATLAB/Simulink, ESP32/Arduino, LTspice, SolidWorks, or Fusion 360.
  • Junior Assistant: 3-year Diploma in Computer Science Engineering or BCA with at least 65% marks and software development skills in C, C++, Java, Python, SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MS Office tools.

Age Limit & Relaxations

Candidate age should generally be between 18 and 35 years as per central funding agency and institute project guidelines.

  1. Reporting: Report at 09:30 AM at the Center for System Design (CSD), 1st Floor, Old Physics Lab, NITK Surathkal with plain-paper application, passport photo, and original plus self-attested copies of certificates.
  2. Hands-on Software Test: Candidates must bring their own laptops with appropriate simulation/programming software installed to undertake the software proficiency test.
