Candidates must hold a B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering (or equivalent) and an M.Tech/M.E. in Power Electronics, Power Electronics and Drives, Electric Vehicle, Electric Transportation, Smart Mobility, Sustainable Systems/Renewable Energy, Energy Storage Technologies, Smart Electric Grid, Renewable Energy, Electrical Engineering, or closely allied specializations. Candidates must have a consistent first-class academic record across all qualifications. GATE qualification and prior R&D/industry project experience are preferred.

Age Limit & Relaxations

Career & Promotion Ladder

Emoluments are ₹37,000/month for the first two years (as Junior Research Fellow). After satisfactory performance assessment, emoluments increase to ₹42,000/month in the third year (Senior Research Fellow grade). Furthermore, the candidate is eligible to register for a Ph.D. degree at NIT Warangal per institute regulations when PhD admissions are opened.
