Educational Qualification

Essential Educational Qualifications:
• Full-time Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an AICTE/UGC recognized university or Institution of Engineers (India) Section A & B.
• Full-time Post Graduation (M.Tech / M.E. / M.S.) in Marine Structures, Coastal Engineering, Ocean Engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum 60% marks (First Class) in qualifying degrees for General/UR candidates (50% marks for reserved category posts).
Mandatory Experience:
• Minimum 11 years of post-qualification experience, including at least 5 years specifically in the design and construction of marine structures (breakwaters, revetment/shore protection, dredging/reclamation, berths, jetties, marine piling).
Pay Scale / CTC Residency Criteria:
• Govt/PSU Candidates: At least 2 years in IDA scale Rs. 60,000-1,80,000 / CDA Level 11 (7th CPC).
• Private Sector Candidates: Minimum annual CTC of Rs. 24.10 LPA as on the cut-off date (19.10.2026).

Age Limit & Relaxations

Upper age limit is 41 years as on 19.10.2026.
Age relaxation: RITES regular/contract employees: 5 years; SC/ST: 5 years; OBC-NCL: 3 years; PwBD: 10 years additional relaxation.

Selected candidates will be appointed on regular basis in the IDA pay scale of Rs. 70,000 - 2,00,000/- (E-4 level).
