• Job Responsibilities: Rendering technical and operational assistance to PI and Co-PI of the project in executing research project activities, especially nursery maintenance, plantation, sapling propagation, and field trial management.

Age Limit & Relaxations

Upper age limit is 38 years for open category candidates, relaxable up to 45 years for SC, ST, NT, and OBC candidates as per Maharashtra Government / University rules upon submission of valid caste documents. Relaxation also admissible for deserving candidates.

The Supporting Staff (Field Man) is attached to the ICAR All India Co-ordinated Research Project on Agroforestry (AICRP on Agroforestry) at the College of Agriculture, Nagpur under Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth (PDKV), Akola. The job requires outdoor manual-cum-technical farm duties assisting the Principal Investigator (PI) and Co-PI. Daily tasks include managing agroforestry research nurseries, raising saplings of multi-purpose tree species (such as Teak, Shisham, Bamboo, Melia dubia, Subabul), establishing field trial plots, implementing irrigation schedules, taking biometrical observations (tree height, collar diameter, DBH, canopy spread), maintaining crop-tree intercropping experiments, and supervising contractual farm laborers.
