Educational Qualification

Supervisor (Nesting): 3-year Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Marine, Civil, ECE, Computer, or Automobile Engineering from a State Board of Technical Education. Minimum 7 years post-qualification experience in Nesting, Plate Processing, CNC Cutting, Production Planning, or CAD-CAM in shipbuilding/offshore/marine companies (at least 2 years in supervisory grade).

Supervisor (Mechanical): 3-year Diploma in Mechanical or Marine Engineering from a State Board of Technical Education. Minimum 7 years post-qualification experience in Piping, Machinery, or Structural outfitting functions in shipbuilding/ship repair/offshore/marine engineering companies (at least 2 years in supervisory grade).

Age Limit & Relaxations

Upper age limit shall not exceed 45 years as on 28th October 2026 (born on or after 29th October 1981). Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for ST candidates in post reserved for them (up to 50 years). Ex-servicemen relaxation as per Government of India guidelines up to a maximum age of 50 years.

The selection process comprises two phases: Phase I consisting of an offline written examination with an Objective Type Test (40 marks, 45 minutes) and a Descriptive Type Test (40 marks, 90 minutes), followed by certificate verification in a 1:6 ratio, and Phase II consisting of a PowerPoint Presentation highlighting candidate work experience (20 marks, max 10 minutes). Minimum qualifying marks across Phase I and II are 50% for Unreserved posts and 40% for ST posts. Final merit ranking is based on composite scores out of 100 marks.
