Essential Qualifications:

• Master's degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade) in Philosophy from an Indian University or equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
• Candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) in Philosophy conducted by UGC/CSIR, OR be awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree) Regulations.
• Eligibility criteria strictly governed by UGC Regulations, 2018 as adopted by the University of Delhi.
• Superannuated (retired) teachers may also be considered subject to a maximum age limit of 70 years.
• The candidate should not hold any other active teaching assignment.

Superannuated (retired) teachers may be considered up to a maximum age limit of 70 years. For fresh candidates, eligibility criteria follow UGC / University of Delhi norms.

1. Verify eligibility under the EWS category as per UGC Regulations, 2018 and University of Delhi norms.
2. Prepare an updated detailed Bio-Data/Curriculum Vitae along with supporting documents.
3. Carry original certificates and one set of self-attested photocopies (Date of Birth, 10th onwards mark sheets & degrees, NET certificate / Ph.D. degree, and valid EWS certificate).
4. Report at the Office of the Principal, Ramjas College, University Enclave, Delhi - 110007 on 14.10.2026 between 01:00 P.M. and 01:55 P.M. for registration and document verification. (Interview commences at 02:15 P.M.).
