Post-wise Educational Qualifications & Experience:

  • Senior Project Associate (Senior PAT): M.Sc. in Biotechnology / Biochemistry / Plant Sciences / Chemistry from a recognized University with minimum 3 years' R&D experience in industrial / academic institutions; OR Ph.D. in relevant subject with 2 years' R&D experience.
  • Project Associate – I (PAT-I): Master's Degree in Biotechnology, Botany, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Agriculture, Chemistry, Environmental Sciences, Food Technology; OR B.E. / B.Tech. in Biotechnology / Agricultural Engineering / Chemical Engineering / Food Technology.
  • Project Associate – II (PAT-II): M.Sc. in relevant discipline with 2 years of proven research experience.
  • Project Assistant – I (PA-I): 10th Class (SSC) plus ITI Certificate in Welder / Plumbing trade.

Age Limit & Relaxations

Upper age limit: 35 years for Project Associate-I, Project Associate-II, and Project Assistant-I; 40 years for Senior Project Associate (Senior PAT) as on the respective interview date. Age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST/PwBD/Women and 3 years for OBC candidates as per Government of India instructions.
