Engineering Degree (B.E./B.Tech) with minimum 60% marks or 3-Year Diploma in relevant disciplines (Mechanical, Production, Marine, Naval Architecture, Electrical, Electronics, Civil). Relevant post-qualification managerial experience in shipbuilding, ship repair, or offshore fabrication: 15 years for AGM, 9-12 years for Manager, and 7-10 years for Deputy Manager.

Age Limit & Relaxations

Upper age limit as on 28 October 2026: Deputy Manager: 35 years; Manager: 40 years; Assistant General Manager: 50 years. Relaxable by 5 years for SC candidates in reserved posts and up to 10 years for Ex-servicemen.
