Educational Qualification

Candidate must have passed at least 4th standard (किमान चौथी उत्तीर्ण) or higher from a recognized school. Candidate must be a local resident of Lanja Taluka possessing a valid local residence certificate (स्थानिक वास्तव्याचा / रहिवाशी दाखला) issued by the Tahsildar. Physical fitness certificate from the District Civil Surgeon is mandatory within 6 months of appointment.

Age Limit & Relaxations

Candidate must be between 18 and 40 years of age as on the advertisement date (01 October 2026). As the Kotwal post is an unclassified (अवर्गीकृत) honorarium post under the Revenue and Forest Department, standard horizontal reservation age relaxations (for PwD, Sports, Project Affected, Ex-Servicemen) do not apply.
