Ratnagiri Taluka Kotwal Recruitment 2026

Minimum Qualification: Candidate must have passed at least 4th standard (इयत्ता ४ थी उत्तीर्ण) and must possess working knowledge of Marathi language. Residents of Ratnagiri Taluka only are eligible to apply.

Candidate must be between 18 and 40 years of age as on the date of advertisement publication (02/10/2026). As the post is unclassified (अवर्गीकृत), age relaxation provisions applicable to regular Group A-D services do not apply.

1. Obtain the prescribed application form in person from the Office of the Tahsildar, Ratnagiri (located at Collectorate Campus, Jaystambh, Taluka & District Ratnagiri, PIN 415612) by paying an application fee of ₹50/- in cash and collecting the official receipt.
2. Photocopied, printed, or externally sourced application forms are strictly invalid and will be rejected during scrutiny.
3. Fill out the prescribed application form completely with personal details, category, educational qualifications, and local resident declarations. Affix a recent self-attested passport-size colour photograph and enclose 2 additional spare colour photographs.
4. Attach self-attested photocopies of all mandatory documents: 4th standard mark sheet / school leaving certificate (or highest qualification certificate), birth proof / school leaving certificate / domicile certificate, Tahsildar residence certificate proving residence in Ratnagiri Taluka, caste certificate, caste validity certificate (or 6-month bond affidavit), non-creamy layer certificate (where applicable), EWS/SEBC certificate, and Small Family Declaration.
5. Enclose the completed form and documents in a sealed envelope with the applicant's full name, Saja, and category clearly written on the cover.
6. Submit the sealed envelope in person at the Tahsildar Office, Ratnagiri during office working hours between 02/10/2026 and 17/10/2026 along with the examination fee of ₹500/- in cash. Applications sent by post or email will not be accepted.
