Educational Qualification

1. Senior Research Fellow (SRF) - 01 Post (CRP Hybrid Technology - Cauliflower):

  • Master's degree in Vegetable Science / Horticulture / Genetics and Plant Breeding / Plant Biotechnology with 4 years or 5 years of Bachelor's degree.
  • Candidates with a 3-year Bachelor's degree and 2-year Master's degree must possess NET qualification and 2 years of research experience per ICAR/DST guidelines.
  • Desirable: Experience in handling field experiments, crop data recording, basic statistical analysis, PCR, qPCR analysis, tissue culture, and biochemical analysis.

2. Young Professional-II (YP-II) - 01 Post (PPV&FRA Project - DUS Testing of Broccoli):

  • Master's degree in Vegetable Science / Horticulture / Genetics and Plant Breeding / Plant Biotechnology.
  • Desirable: Experience in handling vegetable crops, data recording related to DUS testing, basic statistical analysis, and laboratory work related to PCR and biochemical analysis.

Age Limit & Relaxations

Senior Research Fellow (SRF): Minimum 21 years and maximum 35 years as on date of interview (02.11.2026). Age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST and Women candidates, and 3 years for OBC candidates.

Young Professional-II (YP-II): Minimum 21 years and maximum 45 years as on date of interview (02.11.2026), with relaxation as per government rules.
