UBKV Research Scholar Recruitment 2026

Candidates must possess a Master's Degree (M.Sc.) in Seed Science, Plant Physiology, Plant Science, or allied agricultural disciplines from a recognized University or Institute.
Desirable Qualifications: Prior practical experience in agricultural field trials or seed physiology laboratories, along with proficiency in computer applications (MS Office) and statistical data analysis software tools.

Candidate should be below 40 years of age as on 01.01.2026. Age relaxation of up to 5 years for SC/ST candidates. Further age relaxation may be considered for candidates having prior experience in similar agricultural research projects.

1. Eligible candidates must attend the Walk-in-Interview on 08.10.2026 at 02:00 P.M. at the Conference Room Adjacent to the Directorate of Research, RKVY Building, Uttar Banga Krishi Viswavidyalaya, Pundibari, Cooch Behar, West Bengal - 736165.
2. Bring two completed copies of the application along with detailed curriculum vitae / bio-data.
3. Bring two sets of photocopies of all educational documents, mark sheets, and certificates starting from Madhyamik (10th) examination onwards, duly attested by a Gazetted Officer or Head of the Institution.
4. Bring original mark sheets, certificates, and proof of experience for verification.
5. Bring proof of Date of Birth (Madhyamik / Class 10th Admit Card or Certificate), two recent passport-size photographs, and SC/ST/OBC certificate (if applicable).
6. No prior online registration or application fee is required; no TA/DA will be paid for attending the walk-in interview.
