• Local Domicile Mandate: Candidate must be a bonafide resident of Bastar Division (बस्तर संभाग) with live registration in the local District Employment Exchange.

Age Limit & Relaxations

Candidates must be between 18 and 40 years of age as on July 1, 2026. Age relaxation for SC, ST, OBC, women, and PwD candidates will be applicable as per Government of Chhattisgarh rules.

Operation Theatre (OT) Nursing Officers manage surgical patient preparation, sterile drape setting, scrubbing and circulating nurse duties, assisting surgeons and anesthesiologists in emergency surgeries, trauma laparotomies, and cesarean deliveries, maintaining surgical instrument sterility, operating autoclaves, and documenting operative nursing notes. Duties involve 8-hour rotating shifts (morning, evening, night) and periodic emergency on-call duties. The hospital handles high patient footfalls from across Bastar division.

Purely temporary contractual appointment under District Mineral Foundation (DMF) funds for the financial year 2026–27. Appointment can be extended based on annual satisfactory performance appraisals and scheme fund availability. Service conveys no claim for regular absorption or permanent pay scales in the Health Department, Government of Chhattisgarh. Positions are non-transferable outside Dantewada district.
