DTU Non-Teaching Staff Recruitment 2026

Eligibility Criteria for Retired Government Employees:
• Retired/retiring officials from Central Govt. / State Govt. / Autonomous Bodies of Centre or State / Central or State Universities (excluding PSUs, preferably Govt. of NCT of Delhi).
• Must have held a substantive post at the time of retirement in the respective Pay Level (7th CPC):
- Deputy Registrar: Retired from substantive post of Deputy Registrar (Pay Level 12) or above.
- Administrative Officer: Degree with at least 10 years experience (including 5 years administrative experience) in Pay Level 11.
- Section Officer: Bachelor's degree with at least 3 years experience in Pay Level 6.
- Senior Office Assistant: Bachelor's degree with at least 3 years experience in Pay Level 4.
- Senior Mechanic & Technical Assistant: Bachelor's Degree in relevant field with 3 years industrial/lab experience OR 3-year State Board Diploma with 5 years experience across disciplines (Mechanical, Electrical, ECE, Civil, Applied Chemistry, Applied Physics, Biotechnology, Polymer, Environmental Engineering).

Candidate must not exceed 65 years of age as on the closing date of receipt of applications (13.11.2026).

1. Download Proforma: Download the prescribed application format (Annexure-I) from the official website of Delhi Technological University (dtu.ac.in).
2. Complete Application Form: Fill out the application form completely with details of substantive post held at retirement, pay level, department/ministry, PPO number, and specific experience in administration, accounts, GFR, or laboratory maintenance.
3. Attach Self-Attested Enclosures: Enclose self-attested photocopies of:
   • Retirement Order;
   • Proof of Date of Birth (10th/Matriculation certificate);
   • Educational and technical qualification certificates and mark sheets (High School onwards);
   • Proof of experience in GFR/FR-SR, CCS Leave/LTC rules, establishment, accounts, vigilance, RTI, etc.;
   • Vigilance Clearance Report at the time of retirement;
   • Copy of Last Pay Certificate (LPC);
   • Copy of Pension Payment Order (PPO);
   • Copy of Aadhaar Card and PAN Card.
4. Submission Mode: Submit the application package physically or by speed post to:
   Office of the Director (Recruitment), Recruitment Cell, Room No. 818, 8th Floor, Academic Block - 3 (AB 3), Delhi Technological University, Shahbad Daulatpur, Bawana Road, Delhi – 110042.
5. Deadline: Applications must reach the University on or before 13.11.2026 (Friday) by 5:00 PM. Applications received after the last date will not be considered.
