The Junior Research Fellow (JRF) works under Principal Investigator Dr. Shiv Kant Sharma in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Gurugram University, on an extramural research project funded by CCRUM, Ministry of Ayush. The project focuses on the standardization, nano-formulation, and pharmacological validation of classical Unani cardio-protective formulations (Khamira Abresham and Khamira Marwareed) against isoproterenol-induced myocardial infarction via endothelial nitric oxide synthase (eNOS) and reactive oxygen species (ROS) pathways. Daily activities involve nano-particle preparation, physicochemical characterization, in vivo animal handling, biochemical assays, histology, and research paper drafting in modern university laboratories. The fellow is strictly dedicated to research and cannot engage in outside employment or private coaching.
