IITI Senior Research Fellow Recruitment 2026

Candidates must possess a Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science (M.Sc. in Physics) or Graduate/Post Graduate Degree in a Professional Course, qualified through CSIR-UGC NET (including Lectureship) or GATE (or national-level examinations conducted by central agencies such as DST, DBT, DAE, DRDO, IIT, IISc). In addition, candidates must have at least 2 years of research experience as a Junior Research Fellow (JRF). Familiarity with scalar extensions of the Standard Model and computational packages used in Particle Physics research is desirable.

The upper age limit is 32 years as on the last date of application (04/10/2026). Standard age relaxations for SC/ST/OBC/Women/PwBD candidates apply as per Government of India and funding agency guidelines.

1. Prepare a comprehensive curriculum vitae (CV) detailing academic qualifications, NET/GATE scores, research publications, and prior JRF experience.
2. Compile self-attested soft copies of all relevant documents: Essential Qualification Degree Certificates, Mark Sheets, GATE or NET (including LS) qualifying certificate, Date of Birth Proof, and Certificate of Research Experience (minimum 2 years as JRF).
3. Merge the CV and all supporting documents into a single PDF file.
4. Email the consolidated PDF application to Principal Investigator Dr. Dipankar Das at [email protected] with a carbon copy (CC) to [email protected] on or before 04/10/2026.
5. Shortlisted candidates will be notified via email for the interview scheduled on 05/10/2026.
