• Sailing Experience: Minimum one (01) year of sailing experience as Chief Officer and above in Foreign Going ships.
• Age Limit: Not more than 55 years of age at the time of entry into pilotage service.
• Two Engagement Schemes:
1. Scheme-I (Regular Contractual Pilot): Rotational shift schedule (2 days, 2 nights, shift off, weekly off in 6-day cycle). Gross monthly remuneration starts at ₹1,50,000/- p.m. during training, advancing across vessel tonnage slabs up to ₹3,75,000/- p.m. for full tonnage pilots, plus extra movement incentives and allowances.
2. Scheme-II (15 Days On / 15 Days Off): ₹1,50,000/- p.m. during training, and ₹13,000/- to ₹27,000/- per day on active pilotage duty based on tonnage slabs, plus travel reimbursement up to ₹20,000/- per month.
• Initial Contract Tenure: 3 years, extendable by mutual consent in 3-year tranches.
