Educational Qualification

Master's degree in Hindu Studies (हिन्दू अध्ययन) with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever the grading system is followed), with 5% relaxation (50% marks) for SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/PwD candidates.
AND
Must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC/CSIR or a similar test accredited by UGC (SLET/SET), OR possess a Ph.D. degree awarded in accordance with University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016.

Posting & Transfer Policy

Temporary engagement purely as Guest Faculty for the academic session 2026-27 (or until regular faculty is appointed, whichever is earlier). Extendable for the subsequent academic session 2027-28 subject to satisfactory Academic Performance Indicator (API) review by the Controlling Officer and competent authority approval. Does not confer any right or claim for regularization or permanent absorption.

However, teaching experience at a Central University provides valuable API points and teaching credentials essential for direct recruitment to regular Assistant Professor (Pay Level 10) posts across Central and State Universities.
