Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess a Master's degree with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/OBC non-creamy layer/differently-abled candidates of Uttarakhand) in the concerned or allied discipline, along with qualifying UGC/CSIR/ICAR NET or possessing a regular Ph.D. degree as per UGC Regulations 2009/2016. For College of Technology: B.E./B.Tech. and M.E./M.Tech. in relevant engineering discipline with First Class. For College of Agribusiness Management: Master's in Business Administration / PGDM / M.Com with First Class and 2 years relevant experience. For College of Veterinary & Animal Sciences: Recognized B.V.Sc. & A.H. with VCI registration plus Master's with NET/Ph.D.

Selection is conducted in two steps: (1) Screening & Shortlisting: Applications are evaluated on a 100-point Academic and Research Score criteria (Table 3A: Graduation 15, Post-Graduation 25, M.Phil 7, Ph.D 30, NET/JRF 7, Research Publications 10, Teaching/PostDoc Experience 10, Awards 3). Candidates are shortlisted in the ratio of 10 times for one post and 5 times for each additional post; (2) Personal Interview: Final merit list is determined strictly on the basis of marks obtained in the personal interview (Maximum 20 Marks) before the University Selection Committee.
