Educational Qualification

(1) Assistant Professor (Academic Level 10): Master's degree with minimum 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/OBC/PwD) in relevant/allied discipline + UGC/CSIR/ICAR-NET or Ph.D. degree as per UGC Regulations 2009/2016. For Technology disciplines: First Class in B.E./B.Tech. and M.E./M.Tech. as per AICTE norms. For Veterinary disciplines: Basic B.V.Sc. & A.H. degree recognized by VCI + Master's degree + NET/Ph.D.
(2) Associate Professor (Academic Level 13A): Ph.D. degree in concerned/allied discipline + Master's degree with at least 55% marks + Minimum 8 years of teaching/research experience equivalent to Assistant Professor + Minimum 7 research publications in peer-reviewed/NAAS rated/UGC-listed journals (or 6 for Engineering) + Total research score of at least 75.

Applications will be scrutinized by a Screening Committee. For Assistant Professor, candidates will be shortlisted based on the 100-point Academic Score matrix specified in Annexure-IV (Table 3A) as per UGC Regulations 2018. For Associate Professor, eligibility requires a minimum research score of 75 as per Annexure-II (Table 2). Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an Interview and Seminar Presentation before the Board of Selection. Final selection is based entirely on performance in the interview.
