Educational Qualification

• Essential Qualification: Bachelor of Library and Information Science (B.Lib.I.Sc.) or equivalent degree from a recognized University.
• Desirable Qualification: Degree in Law (LL.B.) is preferable.
• Computer & Language Skills: Certificate regarding basic knowledge of computer as prescribed by the State Government, and sufficient knowledge of English, Gujarati, and Hindi languages.
• Mandatory Experience: Minimum 02 years of experience working in any well-organized library after obtaining the qualifying degree.

Age Limit & Relaxations

Candidate must be between 21 and 37 years of age as on 20.10.2026. Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for Women and State Government employees, and by 10 years for PwBD candidates (overall ceiling of 45 years).
