Educational Qualification

Essential Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. degree in the concerned subject/discipline.
  • Master’s Degree in the concerned subject with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade point/OGPA), with 5% relaxation for SC/ST/PwD candidates.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant discipline with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade point/OGPA), with 5% relaxation for SC/ST/PwD candidates.
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in teaching/research/extension education not below the rank of Assistant Professor/equivalent, out of which at least 2 years must be in the cadre of Associate Professor/equivalent in 7th CPC Pay Level 13A.

Age Limit & Relaxations

The retirement age is 60 (sixty) years. Candidates must meet the eligibility and experience criteria within the prescribed retirement age limit as on the closing date of application (28.10.2026).
