UUHF Dean Horticulture Recruitment 2026

Essential: Doctorate Degree (Ph.D.) in Horticulture or a relevant basic science discipline from a recognized University/Institute. Minimum of 15 years of teaching (UG/PG), research, or extension experience in a substantial capacity, out of which at least 5 years must be in the rank of Professor or equivalent. Demonstrated research contributions supported by published work and innovations, and proven experience in planning and coordinating academic programs. Desirable: Eminent standing in horticulture, recognized research achievements, and university administrative experience.

Superannuation age in the University is 65 years. The candidate must be below 65 years of age during the 3-year tenurial appointment.

1. Download the prescribed application format from the university website at uuhf.ac.in.
2. Duly fill out the application form with personal, educational, API score, publication, and administrative credentials.
3. Obtain a Demand Draft of Rs. 1,200/- (Rs. 600/- for SC/ST candidates of Uttarakhand) drawn in favor of Comptroller, Uttarakhand University of Horticulture & Forestry payable at Punjab National Bank, Branch Pauri (Branch Code 1370).
4. Enclose self-attested photocopies of all educational degrees, mark sheets, experience certificates verifying 5 years service as Professor, reprints of important publications, and a recent self-attested passport-size photograph.
5.
