KGBV Prayagraj Teaching Recruitment 2026

Qualifications vary by post:

• Full-Time Teachers (Classes 6-8): Trained Graduate in the relevant subject (Science ZBC / Math PCM / English) with valid Upper Primary Level TET (Paper-II) and B.Ed./LT.
• PGT Teachers (Classes 9-12): Postgraduate Degree (M.A./M.Sc.) in relevant subject with B.Ed./LT.
• PGT Principal: Postgraduate degree with B.Ed. and minimum 4 years of teaching experience in classes 9-12.
• Part-Time Teachers: Graduate with B.Ed. in relevant subject (Computer requires BCA/B.Sc CS/PGDCA or 'O'/'A' Level).
• Office Assistant: 10+2 with CCC certificate or CS diploma and typing skills (25 wpm Hindi, 30 wpm English).
• Lab Assistant: 10th Science with DMLT or 12th Science.
• Non-Teaching Support Staff (Cook, Helper, Peon, Chaukidar): Class 8 pass with physical fitness.

Candidates must be between 25 and 45 years of age as on 01.04.2026. For PGT Principal, the age limit is 30 to 45 years. Maximum service age in KGBV is 60 years. Standard relaxation applies to SC/ST/OBC as per UP state government rules.

1. Download and print the official application form prescribed in the press advertisement (available on the Prayagraj district portal at prayagraj.nic.in).
2. Fill out the application form with personal details, educational qualifications, category, and residential address in neat handwriting.
3. Attach self-attested photocopies of all educational certificates and mark sheets (Class 8/10th/12th/Graduation/PG/B.Ed./UPTET), caste certificate (from father's side for SC/ST/OBC), domicile certificate, Aadhaar card, PAN card, and experience certificate (if applicable).
4. Enclose two self-addressed envelopes (approx. 11x25 cm) with postal stamps of Rs. 50 affixed on each envelope.
5. Send the completed application packet in an envelope superscribed with the advertised post and subject by Registered Post or Speed Post only to: District Project Office, Samagra Shiksha, Mumfordganj, Prayagraj - 211002, so as to reach on or before 13 October 2026 by 5:00 PM. Applications sent by ordinary post or received after the deadline will be summarily rejected.
