Educational Qualification

• Doctoral Degree: Ph.D. in the relevant discipline (IT, CSE, EEE, Engineering Sciences, or Management Studies) with First Class in all preceding degrees (minimum 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA on a 10-point scale from Graduation onwards).
• Institutional Pedigree: At least one degree from graduation onwards must be from IISc, IITs, IIITs, NITs, IIMs, ISI, IISERs, or candidate must be working in a regular pay scale at these institutions (or degree from an international university ranked within top 500 in QS/THE World Rankings).
• Experience: Minimum 3 years post-Ph.D. experience or 6 years total experience (excluding Ph.D. enrolment period) after M.Tech.
• Publications & Research: At least 2 papers in SCI indexed journals outside Ph.D. work; experience in R&D or industry of repute.

Age Limit & Relaxations

Fresh appointments beyond 35 years for Assistant Professor are discouraged, except in cases of candidates with exceptionally brilliant research careers and ongoing or approved externally funded research projects. Age relaxations for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwD candidates apply as per Government of India rules.
