Educational Qualification

Essential: Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields from a recognized Institute/University. Candidates who have submitted their Ph.D. thesis are also eligible to apply (must submit degree/provisional certificate within six months of appointment).

The Institute Post-Doctoral Fellow will work in the Department of Data Science and Engineering (DSE) at IISER Bhopal, an autonomous institution under the Ministry of Education. The fellow will pursue cutting-edge research in deep learning, remote sensing geoinformatics, and computer vision, utilizing institutional high-performance computing clusters and laboratories. Alongside research, the fellow is expected to assist in teaching departmental courses and mentoring students. Fellows receive OPD medical facilities on campus but must maintain mandatory personal medical insurance of at least Rs. 1 lakh. No campus accommodation is provided.
