Educational Qualification

Master's Degree of min. 2 years duration after Graduation or PG Diploma of min. 2 years duration after UG in Leather Design / Accessories Design / Product Design / Industrial Design / Apparel Design / Leather Garments / UI/UX Design with minimum 55% marks from a recognized University/Institute; OR Master's Degree / PG Diploma in any field plus Bachelor's Degree/Diploma of min. 3 years in relevant design discipline with min 55% marks. Minimum 3 years of academic and/or industry experience in the relevant design field is required.

Age Limit & Relaxations

Maximum age limit is 35 years as on the last date of application. Relaxations applicable for SC/ST/OBC/EWS and PwD categories as per Government of India guidelines.

Footwear Design & Development Institute (FDDI) is an Institute of National Importance (INI) under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India. The Noida campus serves as the premier flagship center. Junior Faculty members in the School of Leather Goods & Accessories Design teach undergraduate/postgraduate design students, lead studio workshops, assist with project evaluations, 3D design software instruction, student discipline, ERP attendance tracking, and curriculum delivery. The role offers strong institutional credibility and exposure to India's footwear, leather, and accessory design industries.

Posting & Transfer Policy

Stationed at FDDI Noida Campus (A-10/A, Sector 24, Noida, UP - 201301). Initial engagement is strictly on an ad-hoc basis for up to 6 months, extendable in increments of up to 6 months at the sole discretion of FDDI management based on performance review, student feedback, and academic requirements. Two casual leaves per month are admissible. Temporary hostel/guest house accommodation on campus may be provided subject to availability and payment of institutional charges.
