Essential Qualification:

  • Matriculation (10th standard pass) with +2 Vocational in an Agriculture-related subject, OR
  • Matriculation with two (02) years of working experience in agricultural-related field work from a reputed organization.

Job Description: Field and laboratory work under project EAP-484.

Age Limit & Relaxations

Candidate age must be between minimum 18 years and maximum 50 years as on the date of interview (13.10.2026). Age relaxation is admissible for SC, ST, and OBC candidates as per Government of India norms.

The Agricultural Field Operator engages in extensive outdoor field operations, managing experimental rice plots, applying trial chemicals (Falcon GWN4055+GWN12056), monitoring rice sheath blight and blast symptoms, recording agronomic parameters, and assisting research scientists in pathology labs.

Posting & Transfer Policy

Initial posting criteria, zone preferences, transfer liability.

Purely temporary and co-terminus with project EAP-484 ('Evaluation of Falcon against Rice Sheath Blight and Blast diseases'), valid up to 31.03.2027 or till completion of the project, whichever is earlier. Appointed candidates will stand automatically terminated on project expiry and have no right to absorption or regularization in ICAR-CRRI / ICAR.
