Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess a Master's Degree in any discipline (min. 55% marks) along with a full-time Diploma/Degree in Facility Management, Hotel Management, or Environmental Health/Public Health; OR a B.E. / B.Tech in Civil or Environmental Engineering (min. 55% marks). Candidates must have at least 9 years of relevant post-qualification experience (with 3 years in Pay Level 8 / 1 year in Pay Level 9, or private sector CTC of at least Rs. 12.00 Lakh per annum). A relaxation of 2 years in experience is granted to holders of M.E./M.Tech or MBA in Facility/Operations Management.

Age Limit & Relaxations

The upper age limit is 45 years as on the closing date (08.10.2026) for direct recruitment and contract appointments. Standard age relaxations apply for Ex-Servicemen and PwBD candidates as per Government of India norms. There is no age bar for deputationists or internal departmental candidates of IIM Mumbai.

The Manager (Campus Facility Services) heads the Campus Facility Services Office, directly orchestrating all estate operations: campus housekeeping across academic, hostel, and residential zones, comprehensive pest and vector control, solid waste and biomedical waste segregation/disposal, water tank sanitation and quality testing, pre-monsoon storm-water desilting, VIP event logistics, mess/canteen hygiene (FSSAI compliance), and mechanized road cleaning. The role demands 24x7 operational commitment, active vendor/contract SLA enforcement, and rapid disaster/civic emergency response, supported by medical facilities, campus accommodation (subject to availability), and Children Education Allowance.
