IIT Guwahati SRD (Direct) Recruitment 2026

Essential Qualifications:

• Option 1: M.Tech. in Signal / Imaging Processing or equivalent qualification.
• Option 2: B.Tech. in Electronics, Electrical, or Computer Science Engineering selected through National Eligibility Test (CSIR-UGC NET including Lectureship/Assistant Professorship, GATE, or national level examinations conducted by Central Government departments/agencies such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MoE, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, NISER) plus 2 years of relevant experience in the development of digital signal or image processing algorithms.

Age limit and relaxations are applicable as per Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati project recruitment rules and sponsoring agency guidelines.

2. Search for the active project titled 'Development of interferometric workflow for ScanSAR mode data and tools for SAR interferogram quality improvement by developing algorithms for baseline refinement, phase noise reduction etc.'.
3. Fill out the online application form with personal, educational, and professional credentials, and upload relevant documents including CV and qualifying exam scorecards.
4. Submit the completed application through the portal prior to the deadline (04 October 2026). Shortlisted candidates will receive Google Meet interview credentials via email.
