The Senior Research Fellow (SRF) in the Department of Entomology works directly under Principal Investigator Dr. A.K. Pandey on an industry/ICAR-sponsored agrochemical evaluation project (Project Code 2604: Bio-efficacy of Chlorantraniliprole 12% + Cypermethrin 24% OD against major insect pests of Paddy). Daily duties entail conducting field trials, pest scouting (monitoring yellow stem borer, leaf folder, planthoppers, and gundhi bug), recording bio-efficacy metrics, evaluating phytotoxicity, and laboratory bio-assays. The role offers high-value research exposure for agricultural researchers and doctoral aspirants aiming for ARS/ICAR scientist examinations.
