The Executive - Accounts operates within the Accounts Department at the IIM Ahmedabad Vastrapur campus, reporting to the Assistant General Manager (Accounts). Core daily responsibilities entail bank receipts and payments processing with daily SAP bank reconciliation, managing accounts payable, processing vendor cheques/bank advice, following up on unlinked debits/credits, and accounting and disbursement of employee welfare benefits (LTC, Children Education Allowance, mobile reimbursements, research awards). The working environment is structured, highly professional, and requires thorough familiarity with SAP ERP accounting modules and MS Excel.
